Welcome to nature as perceived through my eyes.

There are many different forms of art. It is the process of using design, craft, expression, skill, form, colour, texture and style to create a vision. To me art is a combination of all of the above plus commitment and passion. Most of all it requires the artist to give of themselves, to create from within which allows others to peek into their soul.

Art is a way to express how you perceive the world, to show a point of view and share your ideas visually. Hopefully this will give those who view art enjoyment and immense pleasure.

I am a New Zealand artist who grew up in a rural area with vast and differing canvases. My playground was an abundance of coastline, with beaches, sand, rivers, water, flora, fauna, native plants, birds, fish, sea life, shellfish and animals. Using acrylic paint I focus my art work on the waves that ripple and swirl and the bubbles of sea foam. The form of rocks and stones. The dots and lines on shells, fish hooks and feathers.

Exhibiting art has become my way to share my visions which are a reflection of my soul.
